This is not about going from 'gay to straight'. This is about going to Christ who transforms all who come to him to become more like him. Our goal is not heterosexuality but holiness. Ps 36;9 'For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.' To find Jesus and pursue him is to find life. It is a chance to discard a life of craving for love and not finding it for something far better. The Father waits with his arms wide open to receive and welcome his prodigals.
HARVEST TIME
Since the 1970's numerous Christians have sensed that God was saying that there would be an end time move of the Spirit among people who have been living LGBT lives. They would come to Christ in their hundreds and thousands. The term 'homosexual' would be exchanged for the word 'holiness'. as this is starting to happen, these new believers will come with new zeal and a new passion to know and follow Christ and they will revive Christians with the power of their stories. The harvest is coming in!

OUR GOAL
People who make their aim to try to change from being gay to being straight, will most often set themselves up for despair or failure. Accounts of people who tried to change and failed are often used to prove that no one is able to change from being LGBT. A concerted effort to ban any help for people with unwanted same-sex attraction is happening across the world. Those who are convinced that the only path to happiness for someone who experiences same-sex attraction is to accept their sexual identity and spurn any attempt to do otherwise will cite people who did everything to try to change . They went to churches, they went for counselling, they maybe had deliverance from possible demonic influence. They prayed and fasted and did programs and yet, they were still just as attracted to people of the same sex as ever. Many who tell these kinds of stories say that because they were unable to experience change in their sexual preferences, no one can.
There is a basic problem with this. They had the wrong goal.
People who desire Jesus and want to make him the one goal of their lives come to him and exchange all forms of striving and face the cross. Laying down their deepest rebellion, deepest pain, they admit that they can't do one thing to change themselves, they surrender.
Some people think that there are two kinds of people in this world, heterosexual and homosexual. Two forms of humanity. If only they could conform in their feelings to be heterosexual and fit with the majority, all would be well. With this premise, there later can come the idea that God must have made these two types of humans. So, if I am homosexual, then why does he hate me? Surely if he made me this way, he is fine with me finding intimacy with someone I can love.
In fact, "There are only two kinds of people in this world. Those who are spiritually dead and those who are spiritually alive." (Willy Torresin).
When we find Jesus as our all in all, we find life. Sex is not life. Jesus is life. If he is our goal, it doesn't matter what our old bits of temptation may be, we are not to make our struggle the focus. Relationship with Jesus will bring us to reconciliation with our heavenly Father. Our Father will love and remould us as we learn from scripture how to agree with and think his thoughts.
Some people never experience any change in their feelings. Others find they have significant or full change. Sometimes that has been helped by counsellors or ministries. It is all part of a new life in Christ, letting him in more and more and allowing him to reshape us as he wills.
It is plainly inaccurate to say that no one experiences change. This website shows that clearly many people do but change is not the focus. Jesus and his Lordship is the essential element.
